We pay particular attention to lightweight design and the selection of future-oriented materials to minimize the ecological footprint while maximizing safety and ergonomics. We consider both active and passive safety requirements to ensure maximum protection and comfort for vehicle occupants.
Our expertise also includes complex kinematic components such as innovative ventilation concepts with a high level of functional integration that meet aesthetic and practical requirements in equal measures.
In addition, we develop tailor-made lighting solutions that not only highlight the vehicle interior, but also optimize the driver's comfort and perception. Here we also rely on innovative HMI solutions for lighting and sensor solutions such as IMSE® technology.

We develop tailor-made interior concepts for the entire vehicle and always consider the interior as a functional overall system. Our spectrum ranges from cockpit perimeters, door panels and instrument panels to complex center consoles and vehicle seats and controls. In addition, we integrate functions from mechanics and electric/electronic, such as air vents. We accompany the entire development process from early concept development to series production.
Sustainability is a central driver of our interior concepts. A prime example of our innovative strength is the "NaMiKo Smart" research project – a sustainable center console that consists largely of sustainable materials, including cellulose fibers, and for which we were awarded the "Honorable Mention" of the renowned Altair ENLIGHTEN AWARD.

In the vehicle interior, look, feel and ergonomics are decisive. In order to translate creative design visions into technically buildable, flawless Class A surfaces without any loss of quality, our interior developers work seamlessly with the surface development specialists from the very beginning. We use common CAD systems such as CATIA V5/V6 or Siemens NX as well as OEM-specific PLM environments such as Teamcenter or 3DEXPERIENCE. Special tools such as CAVA and EFD are also used for the exact design of ergonomics, safety radii and ventilation.
Since countless components, materials and technical interfaces (such as air conditioning or electronics) converge in a confined installation space in interior projects, precise methodical control is required. Thanks to our more than 30 years of experience, we successfully moderate the complex interfaces between design, strak, construction, materials technology and suppliers. With a deep understanding of OEM processes, we ensure smooth implementation and compliance with all quality, cost and weight targets.
Safety has the highest priority. Visible interior components must absorb energy in a crash and interact perfectly with the underlying structures. That's why we closely coordinate the interior development – from the package to the selection of materials – structurally and functionally with the shell construction specialists.
