FMEA

Higher efficiency for better development

WHAT IS AN FMEA?

FMEA stands for Failure Mode and Effects Analysis and is a proactive risk analysis method that examines potential failures, their probability of occurrence and their effects on a product, process or system. The goal of FMEA is to identify potential weaknesses early and take preventative action when necessary.

WE DO THE HOMEWORK.
YOU MAKE THE DECISIONS.

With years of experience from numerous projects in the mobility sector, our specialists have extensive knowledge and skills that greatly accelerate the facilitation and execution of an FMEA.
While FMEAs usually consist of time-consuming and extensive meetings with many specialist departments, we are able to streamline these time-consuming and cost-intensive processes for our customers.

Our experts can perform approximately 90 percent of an FMEA independently, without direct customer involvement. Prior to meeting with the specialist department, all standard topics and potential sticking points, as well as new developments such as VDA/AIAG and legal updates, are taken into account. Only a small number of non-standard issues are then discussed with the specialist departments. The meeting can be physical, hybrid or fully digital. The results are captured immediately, added to the document later, and finalized for the final handover. This is how a successful and efficient FMEA can be realized with csi.
