FOXBYTE creates modern logistics solution for Mubea

The aim was to replace an outdated system with a digital solution that meets today's requirements for efficiency, internationality and automation.

FOXBYTE created a customized application on Mubea's existing Azure cloud environment in just four months. Today, the system reliably and efficiently manages the dispatch of around 200 trucks daily, providing tangible benefits to dispatchers, drivers, and the company itself.

To ensure the new logistics process runs efficiently, FOXBYTE and Mubea jointly developed an optimized process that makes better use of the newly gained advantages in conjunction with the digital application.

1) Early registration & time slot booking
Dispatchers can conveniently register planned deliveries and book time slots online in advance. Plant capacity utilization is efficiently managed at this stage.

 

2) Multilingual On-Site Registration
Even unregistered vehicles can register directly at the factory terminal in 12 languages with an intuitive interface. This significantly reduces communication problems.

 

3) Targeted Retrieval via SMS
Truck drivers receive a text message as soon as they are cleared for entry. This message may include a Google Maps link to the correct access route, which is particularly helpful on large factory premises.

 

4) Automated Access with License Plate Recognition
High-resolution cameras at the factory gate recognize registered trucks by their license plates and allow them to enter automatically, eliminating the need for manual checks.

5) Transparent documentation
The system records all standing, waiting, and loading times, which serve as reliable proof for freight forwarders.
