The next generation takes over the management of the csi group

The founder, shareholder and Managing Director Steffen Boll is handing over management responsibility to Mathias Leixner, who has been a member of the csi management team for many years.

Stefan Boll (59), the founder and managing partner of the csi group, headquartered in the German town of Neckarsulm, is committed to looking ahead and actively shaping the future. After heading up the mobility development partner for 27 years, he is now looking out for himself and is preparing for his succession. Mathias Leixner (45) will replace Steffen Boll in the operational management of the csi group from 1st January 2023. Mathias Leixner, a graduate engineer, has been with the company for over 20 years and, in his role as Managing Director, has been responsible for the csi sites in the German towns of Neckarsulm, Weissach and Ingolstadt since 2016.

Seamless transition

Steffen Boll will therefore withdraw completely from the operational side of the business from 1st January 2023 in order to ensure a seamless transition. He will use this freed-up capacity in his daily life to further advance the strategic development of new business areas as well as selected "digital engineering” innovation projects.

More than developers

"It is with courage, curiosity, digital skills and innovation coupled with our core expertise in A-class, bodywork, lightweight construction, interiors, exteriors, electronics/electrics, simulation and consulting that we are able to develop optimum solutions and concepts for our customers. We are developing the next generation of mobility for them," explains Steffen Boll. And he continues: "Mathias Leixner embodies this next generation like no other and is the ideal person to lead csi into the future."
