TactoTek and csi join forces to break design and technical boundaries with IMSE (In-Mold Structural Electronics) technology in the development of automotive interior systems.
Recognized as a high quality development partner of premium automotive brands csi adds IMSE technology to its technology portfolio.
Combined with csi’s strengths in mechanical, lightweight, lighting and electronics expertise, TactoTek’s IMSE technology breaks new ground in design, functional integration and sustainability for the automotive industry.
Finnish IMSE pioneer TactoTek and csi entwicklungstechnik today announced the signing of a Design & Innovate license agreement. As a TactoTek licensee, csi will be able to build revolutionary designs and smart 3D surfaces with enhanced applications in the automotive market with differentiated IMSE-based solutions.
Game changing technology and collaboration for innovation and sustainability
IMSE enables csi to push the boundaries of what is conventionally feasible and break new ground in design, functional integration, and sustainability. It offers automotive designers new degrees of freedom to set new trends and differentiate themselves in the market. “As a development pioneer, we want to keep pace with the latest and most promising technologies. Therefore, it is only logical that we will develop IMSE based components for our customers in the future”, says Kai Kisseberth, CEO csi entwicklungstechnik, Neckarsulm, Germany.
Scalable platform on IP and know-how for innovation
TactoTek’s IMSE Design and Innovate License for Engineering Partners is a comprehensive package of IP and know-how for IMSE design, innovation, and simulation. It offers our partners the capability to build innovative and rich 3D smart surfaces with enhanced human machine interfaces (HMI). Paavo Niskala, SVP IMSE Technology at TactoTek, says: “In the past few years, we have intensively been exchanging ideas and opportunities in the market place with csi, and their high competence in the development of automotive systems is recognized across the industry. Starting our collaboration will strengthen our IMSE ecosystem in Germany, which we are very delighted about”
